Mindoro State University (MinSU) participated in the 24th Biennial Conference and General Assembly of the Asian Association of Agricultural Colleges and Universities (AAACU) held from December 2 to 6, 2024, at Nagoya University, Japan.
Representing MinSU were Dr. Enya Marie D. Apostol, University President, and Dr. Jerrel S. Reyes, Chairperson of External Linkages and International Affairs. The event brought together institutions and leaders across Asia to discuss innovations and best practices in agricultural science and technology while fostering cultural exchanges and collaborations.
The conference emphasized the sustainable and ethical use of bioresources, aligned with the principles of the Nagoya Protocol. During the conference, Dr. Apostol presented MinSU’s best practices, showcasing the university’s contributions to agricultural development. Both Dr. Apostol and Dr. Reyes also engaged in discussions and networked with international researchers and institutional leaders, paving way for potential partnerships and collaborative research projects.
This milestone marks another step in MinSU's journey towards internationalization, reinforcing its dedication to aligning its efforts with global standards and addressing critical issues in agriculture and sustainability.
