As the Christmas spirit fills the air and the year draws to a close, Mindoro State University (MinSU) facilitated by MinSU Faculty and Employees Association held its much-anticipated Year-End and Thanksgiving Party across its campuses, December 20, 2024. Themed “Paskuhan sa MinSU: Pamilya, Pag-ibig at Pagkakaisa,” the celebration welcomed employees and their families to share in the festive joy.
Dr. Enya Marie D. Apostol, University President, emphasized the importance of extending the celebration to employees’ families. “We want them to see the joy we have here at MinSU so that we can be even more motivated and bring this happiness into our homes,” she remarked.
This annual event provided a much-needed break from the University’s busy schedule, providing employees an opportunity to unwind and celebrate the holiday season with their loved ones. The gathering was brimming with excitement, with raffles and fun games that brought laughter and camaraderie among employees.
One of the highlights of the event was the presence of the children of MinSU employees, who were treated to special activities and gifts.
Adding to the festive spirit was Project CARD (Caring and Reaching Out this December), an initiative led by the Office of the University President through President Enya Marie D. Apostol. This program aimed to share blessings and express gratitude to MinSU employees especially for Job Orders who are with MinSU in achieving its mission and goal all throughout the year.
In her inspirational messages, Dr. Apostol emphasized the values of unity, love, sharing and forgiveness this Christmas season. “Ngayong Pasko, mas iparamdam natin ang pagkakaisa, pagmamahalan, pagpapatawaran, at pagbibigayan,” she said.
Looking ahead, she assured everyone that as one family, MinSU will continue to overcome challenges and achieve greater milestones in the years to come.
As MinSU employees will bid farewell to another fruitful year, they will carry forward the joy and warmth of the season, ready to embrace the opportunities and challenges of the coming year.
