Key officials and personnel of Mindoro State University (MinSU) proudly showcased their colorful and traditional Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)-inspired outfits during the University’s first flag ceremony of the month. This is pursuant to the latest Civil Service Commission Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 16, s. 2024 which sets the Revised Dress Code of Government Officials and Employees.

The new dress code prescribes the wearing of ASEAN-inspired attire every first Monday of the month to promote regional identity and cultural appreciation. For the remaining Mondays, Filipiniana-inspired attire is prescribed, further strengthening the connection to national heritage.

This updated dress code highlights professionalism, decency, and respect for Filipino cultural norms, aiming to enhance public service delivery by projecting a polished and respectable image of government employees.
