MinSU BSHM Student Wins in the EMPERADOR ACADEMY: HRM Students Cocktail Competition

Jhonver A. Mendoza, a student from BS Hospitality Management of the College of Business Management won as one of the grand winners in the EMPERADOR ACADEMY: HRM Students Cocktail Competition.

Mindoro State University takes pride as Jhonver A. Mendoza, a student from BS Hospitality Management of the College of Business Management emerged as one of the grand winners in the EMPERADOR ACADEMY: HRM Students Cocktail Competition. This achievement places MinSU among the top contenders nationwide, competing against among the 480 Higher Education Institutions. His winning entry poured with creativity and unique storytelling, revolving around an original cocktail recipe featuring Emperador Light or Emperador Original.

In recognition of his achievement, on June 14, 2024 at MinSU Calapan Campus, Emperador Academy awarded Mendoza PhP 100,000 scholarship while MinSU also earned an additional Php 100,000 scholarship for another deserving HRM student, boosting the university's profile.

The said national event highlighted the skills and creativity of HRM students, showcasing the artistry and skill of modern mixology.

Mendoza's success was supported by his coach, Mr. Angelo Palmero, and mentor, Ms. Emma Vida R. Liwanag. Once again, congratulations to Jhonver and the College of Business and Management of MinSU for this outstanding achievement.
