Investiture-Ready: Summer Term Students Help Prepare Campus for Historic Ceremony

These students turn practical learning into service
Admin    Jun. 10, 2026

As part of their field work requirements under the Skills Development subject, first-year students taking up Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and Bachelor of Science in Agroforestry participated in the cleanup and preparation of the campus parking area to help ensure that the venue remains orderly, safe, and presentable for the Investiture Ceremony to be held on June 11, 2026 at the Main Campus Auditorium.

Armed with cleaning tools and a shared sense of responsibility, the students worked together to clear the area and improve the surroundings, demonstrating that learning extends beyond the four walls of the classroom. The activity provided an opportunity for students to apply the values emphasized in their coursework, including teamwork, discipline, initiative, and community involvement. Through meaningful, hands-on experiences, they continue to develop practical life skills while fostering a deeper appreciation for service and stewardship.

And as the Investiture Ceremony is set to be graced with the presence of honorable guests and visitors, the preparation instills that the University takes in high regard the conduct of the ceremony as an important chapter on the journey of MinSUans.

Indeed, the campus is investiture-ready—thanks to the collective efforts of those working behind the scenes to make this momentous occasion possible.
