In pursuit of continuous improvement, transparency, and accountability, Mindoro State University (MinSU) conducted its Year-End Performance Management Review at MinSU Calapan Campus, Calapan, Oriental Mindoro, December 26 – 27, 2024.
The two-day event served as an opportunity to assess the accomplishments as well as challenges of the University’s various departments and campuses while evaluating the overall performance of the institution in line with its Strategic Plan.
The review’s primary focus was the presentation of Year-End Accomplishments for Calendar Year (CY) 2024. Deans, department heads, and campus executive directors outlined their respective units’ achievements against the Strategic Plan. These presentations highlighted progress in academic excellence, research and innovation, community extension services, and administrative efficiency.
Aside from the accomplishment, there were discussions on addressing challenges such as resource limitations and operational constraints, among others. The presentations emphasized a solutions-oriented approach, with recommendations designed to enhance performance and address gaps effectively.
On the second day, Ms. Anna Liza A. Vitto, in charge of monitoring at MinSU Main Campus, presented the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 Targets as aligned with the University’s Strategic Plan. Her discussion outlined goals, initiatives, and performance indicators for the upcoming year, providing a roadmap to guide the institution’s continuous improvement efforts.
The review also encouraged discussions and forum among participants, fostering collaboration and the sharing of best practices across the University’s campuses and colleges.
University President Dr. Enya Marie D. Apostol lauded the efforts of the MinSU community during her message, emphasizing the collective dedication to achieving institutional goals.
The Year-End Performance Management Review not only emphasized the accomplishments of CY 2024 but also identified areas for growth and improvement. With the roadmap for FY 2025 laid out, the University is ready to face the opportunities and challenges ahead, ensuring that it remains a pillar of academic and institutional excellence in the region.
