The Mindoro State University (MinSU) Faculty Federation has officially elected and sworn in its new set of officers during an oath-taking ceremony held at the MinSU Calapan Campus, Masipit, Calapan City, January 14, 2025. The oath of office was administered by Dr. Enya Marie D. Apostol, University President who also confirmed the officers' appointments.
Faculty members from MinSU's three campuses—Main, Calapan, and Bongabong—gathered to elect their leaders, who will serve a two-year term. The newly elected officers are as follows:
President: Mr. Enrique T. Magalay (Bongabong Campus)
Vice President: Mr. Jerome Jef M. Zamora (Main Campus)
Secretary: Ms. Lorie Jane R. Delos Santos (Bongabong)
Treasurer: Ms. Anna Liza A. Vitto (Main)
Auditor: Mr. Ernie E. Consul (Calapan)
Public Information Officer (PIO): Dr. Pinky B. Carig (Main)
Business Manager: Mr. Edgardo Agoncillo (Main)
Additionally, Ms. Lorie Jane R. Delos Santos was appointed by Federation President Magalay to serve as the Secretary of the Federation.
Dr. Jesse T. Zamora, current Faculty Regent and other officers, were also present, showing their support for the newly elected officers.
Magalay, as the newly elected Federation President, assumes the dual role of representing the faculty and serving as a member of the MinSU Governing Board of Regents. In his capacity, Magalay is expected to advocate for the welfare and professional development of the faculty while contributing to the governance and strategic direction of the university.
