Aiming to strengthen its quality assurance systems and aligning with both national and global education standards, Mindoro State University (MinSU) took part in the AACCUP Presidents’ Summit 2025 held at Century Park Hotel, Manila, on August 14 - 15, 2025.
Dr. Enya Marie D. Apostol, University President, led MinSU’s delegation. She was accompanied by by Dr. Ciedelle P. Salazar, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Ms. Portia Angelica B. Abog, Director for Internal Quality Assurance, and Atty. Ariezza Lynne F. Maramot, Executive Assistant to the Office of the President.
The two-day event brought together leaders from State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) to discuss the new framework for Quality Assurance and Accreditation, share best practices, and explore innovations that can help SUCs keep pace with the demands of a globally competitive academic environment.
Hon. Shirley C. Agrupis, Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Chair, along with Dr. Anthony M. Penaso, AACCUP Chair, graced the event, joined by other officials and members of CHED and AACCUP.
For MinSU, the summit was an opportunity not only to assess the current state of its teaching, research, and community service, but also to discover more effective strategies to further uplift its service to students and stakeholders.
