Mindoro State University (MinSU), led by University President Dr. Enya Marie D. Apostol, reaffirmed its commitment as an active member of the Higher Education Institution Readiness for Innovation and Technopreneurship (HEIRIT) Network of Technology Business Incubators (TBIs) during the 9th TBI Summit held at Citadines Hotel, Bacolod City, on November 7, 2025.
The MinSU delegation included Engr. Randy A. Joco, TBI Manager; Dr. Jerrel S. Reyes, KTTO Lead; and Mr. Julius A. Aala, Junior TBI Manager of MinSU i-BIBES (Innovative Business Incubator for Biosystems Solutions).
With the theme “The Innovation Archipelago: Connecting Ecosystems, Expanding Horizons,” the summit gathered technology business incubators, accelerators, innovators, startups, and key partners from across the country. The event served as a vital platform to strengthen regional innovation ecosystems, highlight local capacities, and expand opportunities for collaboration and growth among stakeholders in the innovation and startup landscape.
MinSU’s continued participation in the HEIRIT program underscores its unwavering commitment to fostering innovation-driven entrepreneurship and supporting the development of technology-based startups in the MIMAROPA region through the Innovative Business Incubator for Biosystems Solutions (MinSU iBIBES).
Through initiatives like this, MinSU continues to contribute to the national innovation ecosystem, empowering local communities, nurturing emerging innovators, and advancing sustainable, inclusive development.
