MinSU secures data privacy with renewed Certificate of Registration at the NPC

Mindoro State University (MinSU) upholds its strong commitment to data protection and responsible information management as it successfully renews its Certificate of Registration with the National Privacy Commission (NPC). The University received an official certificate and seal recognizing MinSU as a registered Data Protection Officer (DPO) and Data Processing System (DPS), valid until November 24, 2026.

This renewal affirms MinSU’s adherence to lawful, transparent, and secure practices in handling personal and institutional data, in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012. The registration ensures that the University’s systems, protocols, and designated personnel meet NPC’s standards for privacy governance. This is also in compliance with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) Circular 2022-04.

By maintaining its DPO and DPS recognition, MinSU reinforces its pledge to safeguard the privacy, security, and integrity of the information entrusted by its students, employees, partners, and stakeholders. The University continues to strengthen its data protection measures, ensuring that all operations—from academic records and online services to administrative processes—are managed with utmost confidentiality and accountability.
