Mindoro State University (MinSU) Calapan City Campus once again demonstrated academic excellence after securing a Top 6 ranking in the February 2026 Criminologist Licensure Examination (CLE), reinforcing its standing among the country’s top-performing criminology institutions.
The Professional Regulation Commission released the results on March 13 following the licensure examinations conducted on February 4–6 and 8, 2026. MinSU Calapan City Campus recorded an impressive 96.10 percent passing rate, with all 74 MinSUan examinees successfully earning the title of Registered Criminologists. The performance significantly surpassed the national passing rate of 66.0 percent.
With this achievement, the campus ranked sixth among Top Performing Schools under the 51–100 examinees category with at least 80 percent passing rate. This marks the third consecutive year that the campus has been recognized among the nation’s top-performing schools in the criminology licensure examination.
Meanwhile, MinSU Bongabong Campus also delivered a commendable performance, producing 25 newly registered Criminologists with a 69.44 percent passing rate. The results highlight the continued growth and strengthening of the University’s criminology programs across campuses.
University officials attributed the milestone to the collective dedication of the College of Criminal Justice Education, the commitment of faculty members, and the perseverance of the students who underwent months of preparation for the examination.
With 99 new Registered Criminologists added to the roster of Mindoro State University professionals, the latest results further reflect the University’s consistent drive to deliver quality criminology education and produce competent graduates ready to serve in law enforcement, public safety, and the criminal justice system.
