MinSU strengthens internationalization efforts at CHED MIMAROPA’s 32nd Anniversary Celebration and ATLAS Forum 2026

Mindoro State University (MinSU) actively participated in the MIMAROPA Regional Celebration of the 32nd Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Anniversary, the UniFAST Gawad Ka-MIMAROPA, and the ASEAN and Transnational Higher Education (TNHE) Linkages, Applications, and Strategies (ATLAS) Forum 2026 held on June 1, 2026, at Romblon State University–Main Campus in Romblon.

Mindoro State University (MinSU) actively participated in the MIMAROPA Regional Celebration of the 32nd Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Anniversary, the UniFAST Gawad Ka-MIMAROPA, and the ASEAN and Transnational Higher Education (TNHE) Linkages, Applications, and Strategies (ATLAS) Forum 2026 held on June 1, 2026, at Romblon State University–Main Campus in Romblon.

Representing the University were Engr. Dr. Jerrel S. Reyes, Director for External Linkages and International Affairs; Dr. Jessie Rey B. Mangundayao, Director for Admission and Scholarship; Liezel M. Romantico, Head of the Home-based Internationalization Unit; and Antonette H. Dudas, Head of the Global and Local Partnerships Unit.

Anchored on the CHED ACHIEVE Agenda and the UniFAST ASSIST Agenda, the event highlighted key priorities in higher education, including accessibility, quality and excellence, internationalization, research and innovation, effective student financial assistance, and strengthened collaboration among educational stakeholders.

A major component of the celebration was the ATLAS Forum 2026, which served as a platform for strengthening internationalization initiatives and enhancing the readiness of higher education institutions (HEIs) for Transnational Higher Education (TNHE) engagements. The forum also facilitated the exchange of best practices, innovative strategies, and collaborative opportunities among institutions in the region.

MinSU’s participation underscores the University’s commitment to advancing its internationalization agenda, expanding strategic partnerships, and fostering global engagement opportunities that contribute to academic excellence, innovation, and inclusive development. Through active participation in regional and national platforms, MinSU continues to strengthen its role as a globally connected institution dedicated to producing transformative impact in higher education and community development.
