Mindoro State University Victoria (Main) Campus successfully celebrated the achievements of its graduating class during the 49th Commencement Exercises on June 16, 2026 at the Crispin E. Cabanilla Memorial Hall, Victoria Campus, challenging graduates to embrace their full potential and pursue their aspirations without limits.
Anchored on the theme, "2026 Graduates: Proud, Principled, and Poised to Serve the Filipino Community," the ceremony highlighted the university's commitment to producing graduates who are not only academically prepared but also empowered to create meaningful impact in society.
In his commencement address, Department of AgricultureโMIMAROPA Regional Executive Director Atty. Christopher R. Baรฑas encouraged the Class of 2026 to reject limitations and embrace the diverse passions that make them unique.
"Do not let anyone put your potential in a box. Your diverse passions are not distractions. They are your superpowers," Baรฑas told the graduates, urging them to pursue their dreams with confidence and purpose.
The graduating class also demonstrated outstanding academic excellence, producing 80 Latin honor recipients, including 13 Magna Cum Laude and 67 Cum Laude graduates. The university likewise recognized two Academic Excellence Awardees and two Scholastic Awardees for their exceptional achievements.
As they embark on a new chapter beyond the university, the graduates carry with them a powerful reminder: excellence is not defined by a single path. Their talents, experiences, and passions are strengths that can open opportunities, inspire innovation, and drive positive change in the communities they will serve.
