For once, nobody was rushing to finish paperwork.

Instead, MinSU employees were running, shouting and laughing at the Victoria Campus Quadrangle on August 25 as they traded their usual office routines for an afternoon of games and friendly competition.

The employee games, held as part of the 75th Founding Anniversary celebration of Mindoro State University (MinSU) Victoria Campus, brought faculty and staff together in a different kind of workplace setting—one filled with cheers, playful banter and plenty of sweat.

Employees gamely took on the challenges, pushing themselves through activities that tested speed, coordination and teamwork. The quadrangle echoed with laughter as colleagues cheered one another on and celebrated every win, close call and funny moment.

Some ended the games breathless. Others were visibly tired and sweaty. But nearly everyone walked away with a smile.

For a few hours, deadlines and office concerns took a back seat as employees simply enjoyed being together.

More than a break from office work, the games gave MinSU employees a chance to reconnect outside their usual roles and celebrate the institution they help build every day.

As the Victoria Campus marked 75 years of its journey, its employees celebrated not only the university’s history, but also the people who continue to keep its story moving forward - one day, one task and, on this afternoon, one game at a time. (jdtdc)
