From their usual work routines to an evening of music, dance and recognition, employees of Mindoro State University (MinSU) Victoria Campus gathered for “Gabi ng Ningning: Pagpupugay, Parangal at Tagumpay” on August 27, 2026 at the C.E. Cabanilla Memorial Gymnasium.
Held as part of the Campus’ 75th Founding Anniversary celebration, the event brought faculty and staff together to celebrate the milestone and recognize the people whose dedication has helped sustain the campus’ operations, growth and accomplishments over the years.
After a busy day at work, employees came dressed for the occasion and joined their colleagues for an evening program filled with music, performances and fellowship.
One of the featured activities was the Rigodon de Honor, where employees took part in a traditional dance presentation that showcased coordination, discipline and camaraderie. The evening also provided employees a chance to unwind and strengthen camaraderie as they shared laughter, music and memorable moments with their fellow faculty and staff.
A major highlight of the celebration was the PRAISEC awarding ceremony, which recognized employees for their excellence, dedication and significant contributions to the university.
The awards highlighted the important role of faculty and staff in delivering services, supporting university operations and contributing to the continuing development of MinSU Victoria Campus.
The “Gabi ng Ningning” was part of the series of activities marking the campus’ 75th Founding Anniversary, honoring not only its history and accomplishments but also the people whose everyday work continues to shape its journey. (jdtdc)
