In celebration of its bountiful harvest, LGU Victoria proudly opened its 73rd Founding Anniversary Celebration and Kapakyanan Festival with Araw ng Pasasalamat, and launched the AgriTrade Fair to exhibit their fruits of labor, September 17, 2026 at the Municipal Hall grounds.

Dubbed as the Fruit Basket of Oriental Mindoro, LGU Victoria celebrated its productive yield of a variety of fruits which they are famous for. During the program, Municipal Mayor Hon. Richard V. Inciong expressed his gratitude to the employees, communities and citizens for their contribution to the rich harvest that the town has achieved over the years. He emphasized the power of unity and collaboration within the locality, despite the adversities that they faced.

During the Araw ng Pasasalamat, the local government invited organizations and communities to join together in a thanksgiving celebration for a prosperous yield. Baskets of fruits and fresh produce were offered and blessed by the officiating pastor. Meanwhile, a special intermission number livened the crowd from the pupils of the Tadyawan Minority School, who performed a traditional Mangyan dance.

To signify this abundance, the municipality launched the AgriTrade Fair, where organizations from the uplands, lowlands, fisheries sector and indigenous communities display their produce and products.

Employees from the MinSU Victoria Campus showed their support to the activity through their participation in the opening program, letting them appreciate the abundance of the town's harvest through the trade fair.

With the theme, “Sa Pag-ani ng Tagumpay, Magpasalamat at Magpugay,” the 73rd Founding Anniversary and Kapakyanan Festival Celebration will officially continue on September 18, 2026. (kpic)
