Mindoro State University Victoria (Main) Campus expressed full support to the LGU Victoria in celebrating its 73rd Founding Anniversary, September 18, 2026.
Proudly holding the University banner, MinSU employees joined the municipality as they paraded the streets together with other organizations and communities.
During the program, Hon. Richard V. Inciong, Municipal Mayor, delivered his State of the Town Address, as he presented key accomplishments and activities done by the LGU for the past year.
One of the highlights of his address was the RVI (Ruta para sa Victoreñong Iskolar), a collaboration project with MinSU providing free transportation to and from the MinSU Victoria Campus to MinSUans.
Both parties are eager to implement the program as they continue necessary preparations for its actualization.
During its first day of celebration, MinSu also showed support to the municipality as they attended the Araw ng Pasasalamat Opening Program of the Founding Anniversary and the launching of the AgriTrade Fair, where MinSU employees enjoyed various booths of fresh produce.
The municipality of Victoria is also known as the Fruit Basket of Oriental Mindoro, due to its abundant yield in a wide variety of fruits and other crops, thus, their official festival, Kapakyanan Festival, celebrates thanksgiving for a bountiful harvest.
As an active partner of the local government in delivering service to the people, MinSU continues to open doors and pave ways for support and opportunities that boost communities to greater heights. (kpic)
