Mindoro State University (MinSU) continues to strengthen its legacy of academic excellence after producing a total of 133 newly licensed Professional Teachers in the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT), based on the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on May 12, 2026.
For MinSU, the newly released results underscore the university’s strong performance in teacher education across its campuses.
At the Secondary Education level, MinSU recorded notable passing rates across its campuses. The Bongabong Campus registered a 90.70% passing rate with 39 passers, while the Main Campus posted a 90% passing rate with 9 passers. The Calapan Campus followed with a 78.26% passing rate, producing 72 new secondary educators, all higher than the 73.10% national passing rate.
For Elementary Education, the Main Campus achieved a perfect 100% passing rate with 2 passers, while the Bongabong Campus recorded an 84.62% passing rate with 11 passers, both far above the 56.03% national passing rate.
In total, MinSU produced 13 new elementary teachers and 120 new secondary teachers, bringing the university’s overall output to 133 newly licensed professional educators.
