Mindoro State University (MinSU) received two recognitions during the CHED Townhall Meeting with MIMAROPA Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) held at Marinduque State University, September 6, 2024.
MinSU was commended for achieving 100% of its program offerings with a Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC), reflecting the university’s unwavering pursuit of academic excellence in both its undergraduate and graduate programs. Moreover, MinSU was recognized for the exceptional performance of its graduates who achieved remarkable success by securing ranks within the Top 5 of the March 2024 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).
Dr. Enya Marie D. Apostol, University President, accepted the plaques of recognition from CHED Chair Dr. J. Prospero E. de Vera III and Dr. Jimmy G. Catanes, CHED MIMAROPA Regional Director.
Other institutions recognized in various categories included Marinduque State University, Occidental Mindoro State College, Palawan State University, Romblon State University, Western Philippines University, South Western Institute of Business and Technology, Inc., Innovative College of Science and Technology, and Colegio de San Sebastian.
The event was part of the 2024 Tertiary Education Subsidy Congress held at MarSU in Boac, Marinduque on September 5 to 7, 2024.
