Graduate education at Mindoro State University is set to become more streamlined and responsive following the approval and contents-noting of revised curricula for several of its flagship postgraduate programs.
The updated curricula introduce reduced academic unit requirements while maintaining the quality and rigor of graduate instruction, reinforcing the University's commitment to delivering relevant, accessible, and outcomes-based higher education.
Among the major revisions is the Doctor of Education in Educational Management, whose total academic load has been reduced from 66 units to 42 units. Meanwhile, the Master of Arts in Education program has been revised from 42 units to 36 units across its specializations in English Language Teaching, Biological Science, Mathematics, and Educational Management.
The curriculum enhancements are designed to provide a more efficient academic pathway for graduate students, particularly working professionals, educators, and school administrators pursuing advanced studies while balancing career responsibilities. By refining course requirements and emphasizing essential competencies and research, the revised programs seek to strengthen learning outcomes and support timely program completion.
The implementation of the revised curricula reflects the University's continuing efforts to align its graduate offerings with current academic standards and the evolving needs of higher education, ensuring that graduates remain equipped to contribute to education, research, leadership, and community development.
The revised curricula take effect immediately and are available to incoming students and qualified continuing graduate learners.
