Mindoro State University (MinSU) continues to expand its services and infrastructure with the blessing of three major additions at the MinSU Main Campus—a newly constructed dormitory, the President’s Cottage, and newly acquired service vehicles, December 13, 2024.
These developments are part of the University’s ongoing efforts to improve its facilities and enhance the experience for students, staff, and stakeholders.
The blessing ceremony, officiated by Rev. Fr. Matthew M. Marasigan, was graced by University President Dr. Enya Marie D. Apostol, along with administrators, faculty, staff, and students.
The newly constructed dormitory is designed to provide safe and accessible housing for students from distant areas, addressing the growing demand for accommodations and enhancing the overall student experience at MinSU.
The President’s Cottage, conceived as a functional and professional space, will host official meetings and accommodate guests, visitors, collaborators, and dignitaries.
Meanwhile, the three newly acquired service vehicles are expected to enhance the University’s mobility and operational efficiency, effectively addressing logistical needs.
Adding to the momentous occasion was the blessing of a symbolic ring called Kam-Pay (Kampana ng Tagumpay), initiated by Dr. Apostol. The bell will be rung to commemorate every milestone and achievement, whether big or small, a tradition that celebrates the University's collective victories.
In her message, Dr. Apostol expressed gratitude for these developments, emphasizing that they are open and accessible to all members of the MinSU community.
The event concluded with the ribbon-cutting and blessing of the dormitory, the President’s Cottage, and the service vehicles.
