Driven by determination and a shared vision to scale their ventures, the MinSU i-BIBES Incubatees formally began their entrepreneurial journey under the PAG-UKOB Incubation Program Cohort 2, reaffirming Mindoro State University’s commitment to innovation, technology transfer, and startup development.

The MinSU i-BIBES (Innovative Business Incubator for Biosystems Solutions) conducted the incubation program for its new batch of incubatees on January 30, 2026, at the ASTEER Building, MinSU Main Campus.

Following the successful InnoBIDAtion Festival held last December 10, 2025, seven (7) promising startup teams were selected to advance into the PAG-UKOB Program. These incubatees were joined by three (3) additional startups, bringing the total to ten (10) startup businesses poised for intensive incubation and market readiness, who are:

  • AsiatiGuard
  • Byahe 365
  • Egginear Agri-Poultry Solutions
  • Jemell's Gourmet Catfish in Oil
  • Lemon Grass Processing
  • Organic Feeds
  • Pamalakaya
  • Pangs Chocolate Mango
  • Sorbetes de Negra
  • DOCS

Through the PAG-UKOB Program, incubatees will undergo a structured development process supported by expert mentors outsourced by MinSU i-BIBES, coupled with access to advanced technologies, facilities, and innovation-driven resources. The program is designed to equip startups with the competencies needed to refine their business models, strengthen operations, and position their products and services competitively in the wider market.

The program officially commenced with an orientation on MinSU i-BIBES and the PAG-UKOB Incubation Framework, followed by the introduction of incubatees and the Cohort 2 Mentors. A detailed orientation on contract provisions was also conducted, culminating in the ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and incubation contracts, symbolizing a shared commitment between the university and its incubatees.

In the afternoon session, the incubatees engaged in mentor-led meetings and consultations, where they gained valuable insights on best practices in entrepreneurship, startup sustainability, and strategic growth. The interactive discussions provided a platform for incubatees to seek guidance, refine their ideas, and align their goals with market demands.

Engr. Randy A. Joco, Director for Innovation and Technology Business Incubator (TBI) Manager, emphasized MinSU i-BIBES’ unwavering support for the incubatees, assuring them that the program is designed to transform innovative concepts into viable, scalable, and sustainable businesses.

With PAG-UKOB Cohort 2 underway, MinSU i-BIBES continues to strengthen its role as a catalyst for innovation, empowering local startups and fostering an entrepreneurial ecosystem that drives inclusive growth and development.
